Crystal Mountain Resort
Originally called Last Mountain Resort because of it's location on Mt.Last. It was first open to the public in 1967 by the Mcleod family from Westbank and was sold in 1992 changing its name to Crystal Mountain Resorts. The Resort has future development plans which could include a new village with housing development, a golf course and hiking and biking trails.
About a 15 minute drive above Westbank (West Kelowna) Crystal Mountain Resort is a family ski hill that caters to the weekend and night skiers because of its proximity to the west side of Kelowna. Crystal Mountain offers a terrific local ski school and learn to ski program.
It has 2 chairlifts and a t-bar servicing 24 runs from beginner to advanced, but the majority is intermediate terrain. They offer night skiing and a lit up cross country area is near by. The base sits at 1228m and has an annual snowfall of 310cm. There is a day lodge with a restaurant, ski and board rentals and a ski school.
It is open December through March and only Thursday to Sundays.
