Road Biking in the Kelowna Area
The Okanagan offers some of the most scenic road riding routes throughout its sun drenched valleys that any level of cyclist can enjoy. Kelowna has a variety of diverse road routes from the flats valley bottoms to great climbs up into the scenic orchards and vineyards all throughout the upper benches.
Organized Rides: The 'Kelowna Killer Beez' is a local cycling club that has organized rides on Sunday mornings dating back to 1978 that leave from the Sails downtown or go to other communities throughout the valley. There are Wednesday evening and Saturday morning criterions where the elite riders from the valley love to test each other's speed and skill.
